Fiesta Laut (Sea Fiesta) 2007

SHAH ALAM, Mac, 2007 : After four years organizing programs at the various islands, CoRal Malaysia felt its was time to present all the conservation work done to the general public in the country.

With support from the various ministries – Youth and Sports, Tourism, and Environment CoRal Malaysia organized a three day event at the Shah Alam Aquatic Centre.

Theintroduction of our newest Ambassador, popular singer, Fauziah Latiff, as CoRal Mermaid, was a big hit amongst the visitors. Together with Ajis Mohamad, CoRal Underwater Painter Ambassador, they presented the event patron, Datuk Liow Tiong Lai, a message from divers – “DON’T DESTROY OUR CORAL”

This also marked first support from the Ministery of Tourism, when its Minister, Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, willingly officiated the event.

Datuk Low Tiong Lai, Deputy Minister Youth and Sports, willingly agreed to be the event patron, while Datu Sazmi Miah, representative of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Datuk Seri Azmi Khalid, closed the fiesta.
