First Hoisting Jalur Gemilang Underwater 2006 (MboR)

PERHENTIAN ISLAND, 31st August, 2006: CoRal Malaysia second record for the month of August and third record from Malaysia Book of Record (MBoR).

Celebrating Malaysia Independence Day, 31st August, 2006, underwater marked another great achievement for this association. With the help of Marine Park Malaysia, a flag pole was erected and a 3 meter national flag was raised slowly from the seabed.

Amazingly, lead by Marine Park staff known as ‘Ayah Chik’ all 40 divers somehow sang Malaysia national anthem, Negara Ku, as the flag was hoisted.

And it didn’t stop there. Malaysian Book of Record (MBoR) certificate that was covered by plastic was presented to organizer at the seabed. That event actually was the first time MBoR certificate was presented underwater!
